8 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
3 tbsp brown sugar
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ cup water
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium low heat until the apple slices become soft and mushy (about 40 minutes).
- Mash softened apples with potato masher.
- Serve and enjoy hot or cold.
