Ingredients

  • 8 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar

  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ cup water

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Cook over medium low heat until the apple slices become soft and mushy (about 40 minutes).
  • Mash softened apples with potato masher.
  • Serve and enjoy hot or cold.
