BIR Ginger Garlic Paste

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh garlic peeled

  • 1 cup fresh ginger peeled and cubed

  • 2 tbsp avocado or equivalent vegetable oil

  • 2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Add garlic and ginger to blender and blend until smooth. Use a rubber spatula periodically to push larger chunks to the bottom.
  • Add oil, turmeric, and salt and blend for about a minute to fully incorporate into paste.
  • Transfer to a jar and store in the fridge for up to 4 months.
