Steak Marinade 2

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp minced garlic (1 large garlic clove)

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • Black pepper

Directions

  • Mix mustard, garlic and onion powder in a small bowel
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine
  • Place beef in a Ziploc bag with marinade and squeeze out excess air to close and shake the bag to thoroughly coat steak with marinade; store in refrigerator overnight (12 - 24 hours)
  • Remove marinated steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature; this is key for even cooking of steaks. Shake off excess marinade.
  • Remove steak from the marinade and shake off excess; discard the remaining marinade
  • Cook or grill steaks to desired internal temperature
