Sweet and Spicy Chicken

1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
½ cup soy sauce
2 tsp chopped fresh ginger root
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp hot sauce
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
4 boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into thin ½" strips
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
- Mix brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and hot sauce in a small bowl
- Add flour, salt, and pepper to plastic bag and shake to mix
- Place chicken strips in dry seasoning mix and shake to lightly coat on all sides
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat
- Add chicken strips and brown on both sides; about 1 minute per side
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, simmer uncovered until the sauce thickens; about 8-10 minutes
