Chicken and Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice

  • 1 can cream of celery soup

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms

  • ½ cup chopped celery

  • ½ stick of butter

  • 1 cup water

  • 6 boneless/skinless chicken breasts

Directions

  • Heat butter in heavy bottom sauté pan
  • Lightly brown chicken breasts in butter; don't cook all the way, just enough to give it some good color
  • Mix all other ingredients in 2 qt casserole dish
  • Place chicken on top
  • Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes
