Chimichurri Sauce

½ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp kosher salt
½ tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 shallot, finely chopped
1 clove of garlic, pressed
1 tsp red chili flakes
½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro (do not include the stems)
Directions
- Grab a jar that can be closed.
- Add all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Close jar and store in the fridge for a couple of hours before use to soften the dried herbs.
- Best fresh, but sauce will last in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
