Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 1 tbsp kosher salt

  • ½ tbsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp dried parsley

  • 1 tbsp dried oregano

  • 1 shallot, finely chopped

  • 1 clove of garlic, pressed

  • 1 tsp red chili flakes

  • ½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro (do not include the stems)

Directions

  • Grab a jar that can be closed.
  • Add all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  • Close jar and store in the fridge for a couple of hours before use to soften the dried herbs.
  • Best fresh, but sauce will last in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
